Position Title: Cerner PathNet Clinical Analyst
Previous Cerner PathNet Solution system build, testing, training, and implementation experience
Previous experience developing test plans for system conversion
Ability to travel 80-100% to East Coast Location
Experience with following modules: Cerner PathNet, Microbiology, Gen Lab, Blood Bank, Pathology, CoPath
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide Cerner PathNet application support and general laboratory build for system conversion.
Responsible for providing ongoing implementation support of Cerner PathNet solution at an advanced level.
Evaluate, design, code, and develop testing plans for system conversion.
Assist with integration testing support and validation.
Provide reports and performance of unit, functional, system, integration and regression testing.
Complete general system troubleshooting and facilitate troubleshooting training sessions.
Resolve reported system and application problems in test and production environments.
Function as liaison and advocate to clinicians to ensure the system meets end user requirements.
Manage quality auditing of project data and system build prior to conversions.
Assist with implementation support, scheduling, and go-live planning.
Develop educational materials and deliver training to all levels of clinical staff.
Provide “on call” 24/7 system and end user support on a rotating basis.
Prepare written deliverables as defined in project scope.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team and prioritize scheduled tasks to maintain project scope.
Maintain knowledge of security and data integrity of system.
Manage resolution of project issues, escalating them to appropriate decision making staff and change control management team.
Technical skills including CCL (Cerner Command Language) preferred.
Previous Pathology/Laboratory experience within hospital or healthcare environment preferred.
Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist or similar clinical certification/credential a plus.
