Impact Advisors has immediate opportunities for a seasoned Epic Revenue Cycle Project Leaders to manage small to medium scale implementation projects including enhancing work flow, optimizing business processes and identifying appropriate systems solutions. Qualifications include:
•Revenue Cycle Department workflow or operational experience is preferred
•Bachelor degree, Masters degree preferred in applicable field
•Gathers and analyzes data, documents findings, provides impact and cost/benefit analysis and recommends specific systems changes/enhancements.
•Develops functional and technical specifications for internal and external systems requirements.
•Prepares time estimates for project activities and develops project schedules and monitors performance and reports progress toward those milestones.
•Analyzes information flows to ensure greater integration of functions within the organization.
•Serves as the primary analytical resource for the user/customers and vendors regarding issues of application deployment, work flow, and overall system effectiveness.
•Provides analytical support which meets or exceeds performance standards as established in the Customer Service Agreements.
•Understands and applies system planning tools and methodologies to ensure compliance with hospital standards.
•Analyzes production problems and identifies solutions/changes wherever necessary. Works with application vendors/other outside resources to secure necessary changes.
•Provides significant functional, technical, and operational knowledge of multiple applications; leads design of application development or major enhancements; manages systems and workflow optimization projects.
•Provides leadership in problem solving, which requires the consideration of the IS strategic plan and short term goals, the means by which to solve the problem, and development of associated action plans.
•Provides leadership and direction to the institution’s information systems vendors and information consumers.
•Provides leadership including the identification and implementation of the hospital best practice standards.
•Develops excellent customer relationships which enable effective pro-active joint planning, negotiation/issue resolution and acceptance.
•Proficient with office productivity software, such as, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, experience with Visio and MS Project desirable
•Ability to interact with all levels of healthcare professionals and staff in one to one settings and for group presentations
•Certified in one, or more, of the Epic Revenue Cycle modules
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Must be willing to travel extensively and work at client sites a minimum of 4 days per week
