Position:
The incumbent in this position performs the implementation of vendor-supplied software packages including the installation, customization, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing support of our ambulatory practices. Develops functional specifications for software development projects and resolves complex application use issues. Plans and coordinates the client involvement in completion of related IS tasks. These functions are performed in accordance with Baystate Health philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications:
- Associates or BS degree in Computer Science or related field or commensurate experience
- Understanding of the healthcare information system environment preferred
- Understanding of an ambulatory practice workflow preferred
- Clinical application implementation and support in an ambulatory setting experience preferred
- Able to troubleshoot technical issues and document resolutions
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Preferred knowledge in working with Cerner Millennium Suite including PowerChart Office, Orders & Charges, CCL programming and use of Discern explorer.
