To provide direct support to the Sales team and Account Managers in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets. Assist in qualifying leads, gauging interest level, time frame, needs, etc., and directs leads to proper channels. Coordinate, manage, and administer multiple facets of marketing activities relating to the web sites, marketing content, trade shows, demos/ presentations, etc.
This is an exempt position. This position reports to the Head of Sales.
•Manages and supports the activities, approaches, processes and productivity of the sales team,
•Generate leads to sales and off load prospects,
•Suggest and execute on improvements to existing processes and approaches,
•Work closely with Sales team on coordinated sales campaigns,
•Using the GSI Health sales database, optimize our market segmentation and continually focus our selling efforts on our best selling opportunities,
•Create and optimize reports which give the team visibility into our progress, productivity and overall sales efforts
•Work closely with the Head of Sales, Outside Sales team and Marketing on sales messages,
•As a close business partner to the Head of Sales, oversee sales operations, with a specific focus on coordination between marketing, outside sales and inside sales.
•Aggregate critical market intelligence gathered through the inside sales efforts, and present this meaningfully to the rest of the team to advance our selling efforts
•Assist in responding to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs,
•Ability to travel to conferences and client sites,
•Perform other duties as assigned
