Modernizing Medicine is hiring a Marketing & Sales Associate to execute new business lead development in an outbound environment. Responsibilities include outbound e-mailing, calling, assessing prospect needs, identifying "business pain" and/or roadblocks and ultimately determining decision makers. The Marketing & Sales Associate will primarily focus on follow up efforts to increase conversion ratio from Targets and Leads to Sales Opportunities. This position will work closely with Marketing Operations to determine the best practices and processes for following up on Leads. You will also work with the Sales Team to keep your knowledge of the product, marketplace, and specialty needs accurate and up to date.

Your Role:

Follow up on existing leads within our CRM database and drive to conversion.
Identify, qualify and develop quality sales opportunities for the sales team.
Call on small to mid-size physician practices, gather sales intelligence, and drive leads to the product demonstration stage of the sales cycle.
Enter and maintain accurate and useful customer and prospect data including customer contact information and interaction in CRM database.
Constantly develop new e-mail and phone call messaging and strategy relevant to each sales stage, marketing piece, and medical specialty.

Skills/Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
Previous experience in customer service and/or sales
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Medical practice experience desired
CRM Experience desired
Persuasive writing ability
