If so, Modernizing Medicine is hiring software educators to train physicians and their staff on EMA, our revolutionary Ophthalmology EMR software. This is a great opportunity for an Ophthalmic Assistant / Technician to leverage their clinical expertise and move into the exciting world of Medical Software.

As a Software Educator for Modernizing Medicine, you will be providing onsite training to physicians, nurses and staff on EMA - our revolutionary EMR software service. In this role you will be implementing electronic health records and optimizing physician and staff workflow. Additional responsibilities include:
Establish rapport; gain and maintain credibility with diverse audiences.
Reporting software improvements to software engineers.
Managing time effectively with minimal supervision to accurately scope projects and ensure that practices are trained on time.
Domestic travel, 75-90%.
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician
More than two years experience working in an Ophthalmology or Optometry medical practice (required)
Basic knowledge of Apple platforms: Mac, iPad, iPhone/iPad iOS
You must be technically savvy with an ability to easily learn new software
Ability to provide some off-hours support, including occasional weekends
Ability to travel 75-90% including occasional weekends
Bachelor degree preferred
