Modernizing Medicine’s web and mobile applications are changing the way thousands of physicians practice medicine. We are hiring a Director of Business Development to lead and oversee the development and growth of profitable new business, and to develop and maintain effective strategic relationships within the healthcare industry.
As our BD Director, you will play a key role in the acceleration of an already high performing, passionate and innovative company.
What you'll be doing:
Ensure business growth through directing, managing and executing business development activities, ensuring these activities are delivered in accordance withMod Med’s organizational strategy.
Own, develop and build the identification and qualification of new partnerships and their operational implementation. This includes full-cycle engagement ownership from identifying prospective partnerships, facilitating the introduction, defining the scope of the partnership, and negotiating agreements.
Build effective, collaborative internal working relationships to ensure a smooth and effective operational implementation.
Create and direct Modernizing Medicine’s partnership program based on our company’s near and long-term strategy and objectives. This includes defining the metrics for success and then communicating and reporting on results.
Target partners include medical groups, vendors, and channels that will expand our company’s healthcare presence.
Play the lead role in managing existing strategic relationships that create significant value for Modernizing Medicine.
You are a successful and respected Business Development Rock Star with recent and demonstrated BD success in the healthcare industry. We have a strong preference for experience within the Healthcare Information Technology sector.
Our candidate knows who the major HIT players are and how they work with one another.
You are an expert at finding, qualifying and executing strategic and complex partnerships with measurable, sustained results.
You are strategic and analytical, qualitative and quantitative.
A natural and effective communicator, you have strong verbal and written skills.
You are a self-starter and collaborator with a passion for innovation.
You manage multiple and complex projects smoothly and efficiently.
BS/BA required – MBA or relevant graduate degree desired
