Manager of Professional Billing Applications (Epic PB) position - Beautiful coastal Southern California location!!!

Our client, a prominent healthcare system in California, is in need of a Manager for the Professional Billing applications team.  They are located in a beautiful area near the beaches with surprisingly good housing options. A full and comprehensive relocation package is included.

Working in conjunction with the Director of Revenue Cycle Applications, this manager defines objectives and manages the configuration, build, implementation, support, maintenance, and optimization of the application. Responsible for planning, structuring, and monitoring system implementation, as well as testing and change control procedures. Takes direction from, and collaborates with, the Director on work priorities and manages the resolution of escalated issues. Partners with subject matter experts and other CareConnect managers to ensure build consistency and a successful end-to-end patient centric workflow. Identifies and plans appropriate training for team members and leads the team in attaining a high level of application knowledge.

Qualifications
Must be certified in the application and have knowledge of the supported business workflows (professional billing / Epic)
3-5+ years of relevant IT or healthcare experience, with a track record of growth
Good understanding of Information Technology practices & Project Management techniques 
Superior organizational ability to plan, execute and complete application projects of medium size
Ability to mentor staff with technical and business-related matters
Ability to work with ease with a variety of individuals
Ability to provide superior customer service
Ability to demonstrate cooperation, teamwork and constructive conflict resolution
Must be able to appropriately document application changes
Conduct staff evaluations and develop follow-up actions as needed
Experience working in a distributed work environment
Strong communication and facilitation skills across all mediums (email, phone, telepresence, etc.) and all levels of an organization.
Demonstrated experience managing without authority and managing up.
Must possess strong technical experience and background working with Epic
Must possess a working knowledge of operational workflow and/or settings of business area(s) where application is used
Demonstrated ability and experience in managing expectations across all levels of an organization
Ability to assess business needs and scope and translate into technical requirements
