We are Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. (CEENTA), the region's premier eye, ear, nose, and throat care provider for adults and pediatric patients for more than 90 years, and we are looking to add to our team. We are currently looking for a Service Desk Technician the primary function would responsible for first level helpdesk and PC support for the CEENTA network. The ideal candidate should have a firm grasp of PC hardware, desktop OS, and major office productivity applications. Also required is an ability to communicate with end-users effectively to assist in solving problems via Phone and in person.

The ideal candidate should be professional, detail-oriented, and love being a part of a team focused on providing excellent services for our company with a firm grasp of PC hardware, desktop OS, and major office productivity applications. As a Service Desk Technician, candidates should have a "can do and will do" attitude, demonstrate the ability to contribute positively to the team and ability to communicate with end-users effectively to assist in solving problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Basic EMR application troubleshooting

* PC troubleshooting

* PC addsmoves

* Active Directory administration

* PC Image builds

* Printer maintenance and additions

* Microsoft Office setuptroubleshooting

* Antivirus administration

* Spyware, Malware removal

* Detailed documentation

* Remote PC troubleshooting

Qualifications:

Individuals must have performed necessary tasks to meet or exceed expectation of Charlotte Eye Ear Nose and Throat Associates.  Supervisory Responsibilities:

 None

Education and/ or Experience:

Bachelor's degree strongly desired; or 5 yrs related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Abilities:

* Strong understanding of PC hardware

* Windows 7, Windows 10 desktop OS

* Microsoft Office 2016 and 365

* Printer Management

* Independent problem-solving, self-directed.

* Basic TCP/IP knowledge and troubleshooting ability

* Strong documentation skills

* Strong grasp of networking concepts and technologies

* Strong grasp of security fundamentals

* Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly

Language/Mathematical Skills:

Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and appropriate document patient encounter within scope of responsibility. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Certificates and License:

CompTia A+, Microsoft MCSA Windows 10 or other industry certifications are desired and a working knowledge of the EPIC EHR application is highly desirable.

Other Requirements:

Travel throughout the Greater Charlotte area, a reliable vehicle, Change in expectations may occur with little to no notice and will be reviewed periodically
