Description

HealthTECH Resources has an exciting new opening for an Epic Cupid Analyst. This is a 3 month contract position at a premier healthcare client in CA. Interested candidates should hold Epic Cupid certification and have hands-on Epic EHR build and implementation experience.

  • Start Date: 06/11/2018
  • Estimated End Date: 09/15/2018

Main duties of the Epic Cupid Analyst

  • Analyzes, configures, develops, tests, implements, supports and maintains Epic Radiant application, solutions and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements.
  • Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Translates business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to specifications.
  • Makes build decisions based on thorough understanding of design alternatives involved in application configuration, investigation of end users' preferences, and thorough analysis of business operations.
  • Designs, validates and confirms new or modified functionality.
  • Supports and maintains required system design and build documents and other project documentation.
  • Collaborates with other application analysts to build test plans for integration testing.
  • Works closely with business users and applications team to design, build and execute a comprehensive integration and user acceptance test plan and scripts.

What qualifications will the ideal candidate have?

  • Must be certified in Epic Cupid, Epic System's cardiovascular information system module.
  • Must have knowledge of and hands-on experience in build, implementation and support of Epic Cupid application.
  • Minimum of 3 years Epic experience in consulting work required.
  • Build experience from a new Epic implementation and not only from supporting a go-live event.
  • Full implementation cycle experience in a large healthcare institution preferred.
