HealthTECH Resources has an exciting new opening for a Revenue Cycle Analyst with extensive Charge Description Manager (CDM) experience. This is an on-site FTE position at a premier healthcare client in CA. Interested candidates should have demonstrable healthcare CDM experience.

Main duties of the CDM Revenue Cycle Analyst

  • Reviews, analyzes, verifies accuracy of CDM, fee schedules, and associated master files.
  • Promotes and implements common statistics and productivity units accumulated via charge master services, common billing codes for similar services, common revenue billing requirements for managed care contracts, and common strategic pricing and mark-up formulas for selected facilities/programs.
  • Provides assistance, investigation, research, interpretations, education, reference material, and documentation for CDM-related and Compliance issues/questions to internal and external partners.
  • Provides input and feedback regarding modifications and improvements of CDM-related policies and procedures and reference material related to CDM maintenance, charging protocols, and charge code data accuracy.
  • Validates and update charge master price and billing elements by receiving feedback from Patient Financial Services charge audits, managed care contracting, external audits, and CDM reviews.

What qualifications will the ideal candidate have?

  • Extensive Charge Description Master (CDM) experience in a healthcare setting is critical.
  • 5 years Hospital/Health Care Coding experience.
  • 3 years Hospital/Health Care Billing or Clinical experience.
  • American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) Certified Revenue Integrity Professional (CRIP)
  • Outpatient Coding Certification preferred.
  • Registered Nurse preferred.
