HealthTECH Resources is seeking an Epic Resolute Instructional Designer for a 3+ month contract position at a top-tier healthcare organization in CA. In this Epic consultant position you will help prepare for the 2018 Epic Upgrade. Interested applicants should be certified in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB). Required to work on site at least 4 days/week, and 5th day may be remote.

Duties of the Epic Resolute Instructional Designer

  • Designing, writing, updating and testing training curriculum to a broad range of end user roles and knowledge, including computer based training modules.
  • Coordinating training for new software releases and updates.
  • Instructing individuals or groups in a variety of subject matter areas and performing the role of facilitator or resource person.
  • Training, credentialing, and supervising Credentialed Trainers and Super Users.
  • Building and maintaining the master training environment
  • Performing in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Troubleshooting problems and responding to questions from end users.

What qualifications will the ideal candidate have?

  • Current Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) certification is a must-have.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Epic Resolute HB/PB applications and prior experience as an Epic Instructional Designer.
  • Instructional Designer needs to have attended TED (Training, Environments, and Documentation) – Epic coursework to qualify as an Instructional Designer.
  • Experience in adult learning principles, Captivate, Storyline, and LMS (SCORM).
