Job Summary
The IT Director of Ancillary and Financial Systems performs a variety of complex administrative, technical, and supervisory work in the Information Technology organization, providing direction of financial and ancillary clinical systems as well as communication of performance between the IT organization and its internal and external users. The Director will oversee Systems to include enterprise resource planning (ERP), revenue cycle, third party, legacy, and ancillary clinical applications. Provides leadership & strategic direction for all ancillary and financial applications and related projects and collaborates across departmental boundaries to ensure IT goals and LCMC priorities are met on time and within budget. Collaborates with Chief Applications Officer on capital and operational budgets. Manages all financial and ancillary clinical applications team members and addresses any conflicts or grievances in a timely manner. Serves as a liaison between the Information Technology (IT) Department and its major end users.

Job Specifications - Knowledge and Skills
Required
1. Extensive working knowledge of project management and healthcare clinical systems
2. Negotiating, organizational development, change management, strategic planning, action planning and management.
3. Skill in managing a diverse group of employee’s skill sets.
4. Ability to conceptualize and analyze complex issues; ability to manage time well; ability to direct a variety of projects in addition to an understanding of the ways in which information technology is applied within the enterprise; ability to maintain assigned programs and systems; ability to troubleshoot assigned programs; ability to meet project deadlines; ability to perform work requiring good physical condition; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, peers and supervisors; ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and in making decisions; ability to follow or give verbal and written instructions, as applicable.

 
Job Specifications - Education and Experience

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or Clinical field, with considerable coursework in the information technology area.
Masters degree preferred
Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in healthcare information technology
Minimum 3 years of management experience
Experience with Lawson or other ERP system a plus
