Description

Position:  

Carium is looking for a Sales Director to join our team. We are seeking a motivated and innovative sales leader with a track record of developing new business. As one of the first sales leaders at Carium, the candidate will set the tone for our company in the marketplace. The candidate will preferably have strong relationships with healthcare IT and innovation teams and the inner drive to help drive healthcare toward a more consumer-centric and team-based, holistic delivery model. This role will report to the President of Carium.

This is a remote opportunity and will require travel of up to 75%.

Responsibilities:

  • Self-starter who believes in the transformation that is possible with digital technologies

  • Lead generation through health IT networking, industry events, targeted outreach, etc.

  • Influence, acquire and respond to RFx

  • Generate and customize client-facing collateral and content as appropriate for specific engagements

  • Creative approach to lead-generation including partner and channel strategy development and execution

  • Generate deal structure and close deals

  • Manage revenue attainment for booked business

  • Serve as primary contact point for customer engagements

  • Strong technical skills

  • Territory: North America

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

  • Proven track-record in sales growth

  • Able to work in a dynamic start-up environment

  • 5+ years of healthcare IT sales experience, SaaS experience desired

  • Has a deep understanding of the business-side of healthcare
  • Must be willing and excited to solve problems of all kinds by embracing and pushing change and challenging the status quo

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Up to 75% travel
