Description

HealthTECH Resources has a new 6 month contract position for a Senior Systems Support Specialist at a premier healthcare organization in CA. If you have extensive desktop administration and support experience in a healthcare environment we'd be very interested in speaking with you more about this position.

Duties of the Senior Systems Support Specialist:

  • In this role you will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software, hardware and peripheral issues in a Windows environment.
  • Handling first and second level support requests related to PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, remote access, related systems, and access to these systems.
  • This is a hands-on position, requiring extensive experience troubleshooting all end-user issues as well as time management, prioritization and escalation skills are required to ensure that target times are met.
  • Provide mentoring to other junior specialists.
  • Administer server and accounts within an Active Directory structure.

What qualifications will the ideal candidate have?

  • 6+ years in desktop administration and support experience in a Windows enterprise environment
  • Senior level server and account administration and management within an Active Directory environment.
  • Deep knowledge of backup and restore processes.
  • Highly prefer candidates with experience in a large healthcare environment/system.
  • MCP certification level in a Windows Operating System, most recent preferable.
  • MCSE certification desired.
  • A+ certification desired.
  • Microsoft and Cisco Certifications are a plus.
