Provides support toward the selection, installation, configuration, conversion, implementation, and ongoing utilization of software solutions. Oversees software upgrades and system performance management. Analyzes user requirements, including operational procedures and input/output requirements. Provides documentation and support to end users to support the system, database setup, and testing processes. Develops and coordinates comprehensive test plans. Codes and modifies software modules as necessary.
Minimum Job Requirements:
BS in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, related major or at least 5 years of experience in Information Technology in a technical role.
7 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting PeopleSoft systems.
7 years of experience in Information Systems development, implementation, and support.
Prior experience with project delivery and systems development life cycles.
Prior experience with installation and configuration of PeopleSoft software for both 2-Tier and 3-Tier.
Experience in application designer, configuration manager, data mover, creation of PeopleSoft databases and procedures to migrate/refresh both database and PeopleSoft environment.
Prior experience with upgrade lab, patch/fix and other teams in planning, tuning, upgrade, and build efforts.
Prior experience in supporting PeopleSoft users as well as database users.
Prior experience with AIX server cpu/memory monitoring and performance, Integration Broker, Service Operations Monitor, Process Monitor.
Experience in maintenance tasks as starting/stopping PeopleSoft PUB/SUB, application servers, batch servers, web servers and clearing cache/logs, migrating PeopleSoft projects from one environment to another.
