HealthTECH is assisting a premier healthcare organization in CA source a Healthcare Data Migration Consultant for a short-term, mostly remote contract engagement on the West Coast. Interested applicants should have a strong mixture of Cerner, NextGen, and SQL skillsets. We need someone who can provide technical expertise and also advise on code.

About the Healthcare Data Migration Consultant

  • Our client uses NextGen 5.8 and Cerner electronic health records in its ambulatory and acute spaces respectively. They need a specialized consultant to provide technical and advisory expertise in the following areas:
    • Completion of sample data extracts from NextGen for Cerner.
    • Completion of data migration DCWs that alias NextGen to Cerner’s code sets.
    • Coordination for the client with Cerner’s data migration team to ensure data sets are fully validated.
    • Alias mapping trouble.
    • Database differences between NextGen and Cerner.

Healthcare Data Migration Consultant Skills and Experience

  • Must haves:
    • NextGen data migration experience to Cerner
    • Cerner data migration specifications knowledge
    • Cerner data migration aliasing experience
    • SQL querying and extracting skillsets for NextGen pulls
