Description

Position Title: Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Analyst

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience building in the Sunrise Clinical Application
  • Experience in providing technical support and maintenance on Sunrise Clinical
  • Excellent client facing skills with the ability to thrive in a highly critical, fast paced environment
  • Experience working in an operational and project based capacity
  • Behavioral Health experience preferred
  • RN or other clinical designation preferred
  • Consulting position, travel to East Coast location

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Applies clinical knowledge to integrate clinical practice and technology into clinical workflows that support safe and efficient patient care
  • Work under the direction of the Manager to provide clinical application solutions for assigned business areas
  • Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs or technical configuration
  • Work with Clinical Business Analyst to understand the customer’s product-specific requirements and configuration and translate them to technical design specifications and data flow from which programs are developed and coded
  • Interact with Clinical Business Analysts during the software build or configuration and testing process
  • Ensure programs meet clinical specifications and standards
  • Perform technical application configuration and configure /run reports at user request
  • Design and execute unit, system and integration test plans for new developments/releases/reports
  • Maintain technical documentation based on standard operating procedures in support of the assigned clinical application
  • Perform application maintenance activities
  • Provide production support
  • Identify the common causes of the defects, prioritize them and systematically remove them so that they do not reoccur in further development work
  • Participate in focus groups and workshops, attend vendor training and demonstrations
