At ProHealth Care, the Epic Applications Team provides ample opportunity for individual growth on an expanding team that is continuously looking to leverage new Epic modules in the organization and facilitate additional Community Connect implementations. The team fosters cross application collaboration and highlights the role of integration within Epic, which presents endless opportunities to expand your Epic knowledge base. The team offers flexibility in working hours (providing work/life balance) in a work hard, play hard environment.
Responsible for the analysis, build, testing, implementation and support activities for the Epic Inpatient Orders team. Ensures the system furthers the enterprise’s goal of excellent patient care as well as supporting the ProHealth quality initiatives. Sr. Analysts work with other Analysts to maintain an integrated medical record that supports the vision of “One Record. One Patient.” Ensures adherence to the standard system while working with subject matter experts, champions, super users to resolve issues and work toward a common goal. Working closely in a matrix environment with informatics, principle trainers and others is crucial for success. The position is a primary support contact for the Inpatient Orders and serves as a bridge between end users and the vendor staff. Position has the potential to support other clinical applications as well.
- Associate degree in a related field required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Will consider commensurate education and experience in lieu of degree.
- At least 4 years related technical experience.
- Epic certification required. Epic certification in Inpatient Orders is preferred.
- Clinical experience preferred, with a preference for Inpatient nursing.
- Must be flexible to provide on-call support per team rotation.
