Envision Health is seeking a public relations manager and copywriter to join our growing healthcare marketing and PR team. Strong B2B healthcare public relations and writing skills are a requirement of this position. Envision is a rapidly growing healthcare marketing and public relations consulting firm and a recent winner of the "Top 50 Companies to Watch in Michigan" award. You will be working shoulder to shoulder with leading healthcare communications mentors eager to share and teach.   • Manage multiple clients with a high degree of professionalism, creativity and responsiveness.
  • Interpret client feedback and industry research and provide strategic recommendations to help advance our clients’ businesses.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and lead your team to execute with excellence.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
    • Develop client content, including media materials (press releases, fact sheets, Q&As) online content, contributed article outlines, media pitches
    • Pitch trade and national media journalists and editors; develop relationships with reporters; develop media pitch; contribute to the design of and execute media relations campaigns
    • Draft PR materials, including press releases, backgrounders, pitch letters and other documents; edit writing of junior-level staffers; oversee referencing, assist as needed
    • Help deliver high-quality programs that meet and exceed client goals
    • Work with the team to devise creative strategies that use traditional and digital/social media
    • Coordinate account management activities: calls, follow-up reports, media monitoring
    • Gain a unique level of insight into our clients, including their business, people, product and competition
    • Help with research, including Internet searches, third-party audits, media audits, identification of KOLs; evaluate and analyze information and data, including development of succinct, accurate summaries and analyses of research
    • Create annual marketing & PR plans
    • Supervise contractors and/or more junior staff to ensure they have a balanced workload and the information they need to complete tasks on deadline
    • Develop marketing & PR content including: direct response B2B writing, digital marketing/ads, press releases, collateral, award submissions, blog posts, pitches, videos and various thought leadership content
  • Maintain budgets, including client communications and internal staff management


  • Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred)
  • 4+ years of focused marketing and/or PR experience
  • Experience with B2B healthcare and/or healthcare technology companies
  • PR agency experience (at least 1-2 years) supporting healthcare clients
  • Willingness to move fast and experiment often
  • Self-starter who will demonstrate resourcefulness to get answers
  • Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and execute flawlessly
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Great communicator – written and verbal
  • Skilled at developing presentations
  • Experience using all Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with PR software (e.g., Cision, Business Wire, etc.) as well as social listening tools (e.g., Meltwater, Owler, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry a must – including understanding of regulations, shared savings initiatives, IT infrastructure within hospitals, payers and physician offices
